Margaret Young
Born in 1952 in Barton upon Humber, Margaret is a self-taught artist who spent much of her childhood growing up in Scarborough before moving to York in 1972.
She is married with three children and loves experimenting with colour, texture and different styles.
Inspiration for her work comes from a wide variety of everyday sources, emotions, people and events.
Margaret makes and sources the materials to make her own canvases, whilst painting she loves to listen to music as this gives her a great sense of
